Well, Faraday said "Whatever happened, happened." So, we should be safe to conclude that Ben didn't die from this shooting, as we know he's alive in the future. Unless a paradox is going to be created. But, Faraday seemed clear that any paradox was unlikely. So, it would be very interesting if Ben does die.

Enrique, some recently released clips for the next episode show Jack refusing to treat young Ben, so if Ben survives it looks like it will be without Jack's help.

I don't know why everyone is so down on Ben. Ben is the hero of the story.... Maybe.

you know what's gonna happen... you KNOW. Sayid is going to blow the one murder he needed to actually get right, and Jack the Savior is going to save Little Ben and we're going to realize that Ben was really only trying to get Jack back cause he knows time is a finite thing and they're all part of a cycle and the only reason he brings back Jack is to save himself for future heavy-handed manipulating.... damn you, LOST! Why can't I quit you!?!?!?!?! (and that's my 85 word response....now 91.)
